Certifications
The course comprises 3 main components – Knowledge development through self-study where you gain a deeper understanding of the science of diving. Once a course is booked, we assign e-learning materials at the earliest to help you complete theory sections at your pace & convenience, prior to arrival at the dive centre. This is highly recommended as it also allows us to allocate more time for in-water training. Confined water session to conduct a buoyancy clinic where you learn to determine weight requirements & placements to fine tune your buoyancy & trim Open water dives to apply & hone your skills using fun exercises, games & obstacle courses The first day is reserved for pool training, while open water dives in the ocean are conducted on the next day. Typically, at SEI, we conduct this course according to the following schedule – Day 1 (11am-1pm/3pm-5pm): Pool training session & buoyancy clinic Day 2 (7am-3pm): Head to Grande Island for 2 open water dives under the direct supervision of your instructor. Practice buoyancy control to become a more confident, relaxed diver. Be perfectly balanced; improve your air consumption & observe skittish marine life more closely than ever before! This course is aimed at improving your overall balance underwater, which in turn will help you feel calmer & enjoy your dives manifold! Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You've seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly; use less air; and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They observe aquatic life more easily without disturbing their surroundings. You can achieve this, too. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level. If you want to improve your buoyancy control, and optimise your air consumption, this is the way to go! You'll also learn to achieve neutral buoyancy, hover in place and use the right amount of weights. Please note that the cost of PADI E-Learning is additional and includes certification. We will send you the PADI web store link to purchase the E-learning manual.

Equipment Specialist Course
At SEI, we believe in a hands-on approach to dive training which reflects in the conduct of the Equipment Specialist Course. The course comprises 2 main components – Knowledge development through self-study. Once a course is booked, we assign e-learning materials at the earliest to help you complete theory sections at your pace & convenience, prior to arrival at the dive centre. This is highly recommended as it also allows us to allocate more time for practical training. Practical sessions through Instructor-led live demonstrations Some of the broad topics covered in the course include – The principles and operation of diving equipment Routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures, and equipment storage Common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures Suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new equipment Practical classes commence at 8.30am & end around 2pm. As a certified diver you might be curious about the operating mechanisms of your equipment. You might also be keen to invest in some equipment of you own & want to learn how to maintain it properly. The PADI Equipment Specialist Course is your answer! You learn to manage basic repairs and adjustments, so you never have to miss a dive due to minor issues with your equipment – whether it's a missing o-ring, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap. You will also learn more about how dive gear works, which in turn will help you make informed purchase decisions depending on your needs. You will also be better prepared to take care of your investment. Please note that the cost of PADI E-Learning is additional and includes certification. Deep Dive Course
The course comprises 2 main components – 1.Knowledge development through self-study or briefings specific to each dive. Once a course is booked, we assign e-learning materials at the earliest to help you complete theory sections at your pace & convenience, prior to arrival at the dive centre. This is highly recommended as it also allows us to allocate more time for in-water training. 2.Open water dives to practice & refine your existing skills including buoyancy control, underwater navigation & deep diving techniques, including a review of dive tables. Dive days start by 7am & end around 3pm. We recommend that you visit us at the dive centre a day prior to starting the course to check & pack your equipment, & interact with your instructor. Please Note: The batches for Deep Diver Course start on Friday every week, and Tuesday is an off for our Dive Centre. From exploring well-preserved wrecks to spotting new species, many great dive experiences lie beyond depths of 18 metres/60 feet. The PADI Deep Diver Specialty teaches you to perform such deeper dives but within the limits of recreational scuba in a safe, supervised manner. Deeper dives come with additional challenges and safety considerations. During this course, you develop your diving capabilities and focus on perfecting your foundational skills, because buoyancy control becomes increasingly critical the deeper you dive. You also learn to plan your dives in greater detail; manage your gas; and identify and deal with narcosis. As a certified Deep Diver, you can dive to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet – the upper limit of recreational scuba.
Once you sign up for an Enriched Air Diver Course, we assign e-learning materials at the earliest to help you complete theory sections at your pace & convenience, prior to arrival at the dive centre. Thereafter, you attend an instructor-led classroom discussion for a few hours, where you learn – -Gas analysis & maximum depth calculations -Equipment considerations & dive computer set up -Techniques to extend bottom time -Safety procedures including oxygen exposure management You also learn about different kinds of filling systems along with a detailed explanation of their working mechanisms. You can also choose to dive with enriched air after completing the theory portion of your course. However, it is not mandatory for certification. The Enriched Air Diver is PADI’s most popular Specialty Course and for good reason! The air we breathe on surface is approximately 79% nitrogen and 21% oxygen. Any breathing gas with more oxygen and less nitrogen than this is called enriched air (also known as EANx or nitrox). When using nitrox, you absorb less nitrogen during your dive compared with regular air. This means, you get longer dive times for a given depth and shorter surface intervals between dives. All of this translates into you getting to spend more time underwater! As a certified Enriched Air Diver, you can dive with up to 40% oxygen. Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent

Rescue Diver Course
At Scuba Evolution India, we adopt a thorough, detailed approach to Rescue Diver training. We focus on mastering each skill before proceeding to the next one. While many of these exercises can be directly conducted at sea, we insist on pool training to ensure better learning 3. Open water dives where you demonstrate your skills in the ocean & respond to simulated rescue scenarios. The first 2 days are reserved for theory classes (if required); and pool training sessions, while open water dives in the ocean are conducted on the remaining days. Typically, at SEI, we conduct Rescue Diver Courses according to the following schedule – Day 1 & 2 (8.30am-5pm): Classroom and pool training sessions covering self-rescue techniques and several rescue exercises. Day 3 & 4 (7am-3pm): You head to Grande Island to demonstrate your skills in the ocean. You will also participate in rescue scenarios, respond to mock emergencies and apply your skills in real time.
