The course comprises 2 main components – Knowledge development through self-study or briefings specific to each dive. Once a course is booked, we assign e-learning materials at the earliest to help you complete theory sections at your pace & convenience, prior to arrival at the dive centre. This is highly recommended as it also allows us to allocate more time for in-water training. Open water dives to practice & refine your existing skills including buoyancy control, underwater navigation & deep diving techniques. Dive days start by 7am & end around 3pm. We recommend that you visit us at the dive centre a day prior to starting the course to check & pack your equipment, & interact with your instructor. Please note that the cost of PADI E-Learning is additional and includes certification. We will send you the PADI web store link to purchase the E-learning manual. Once you've dipped your toes into the world of diving, there’s no turning back! No wonder then that the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is the next step for most Open Water Divers. Comprising 5 dives, conducted over 2 days, this course expands on your existing training. While there are no classroom or theory sessions, each dive is preceded by a detailed discussion with your instructor. The batches for Advanced Open Water Diver course start on Friday every week, and Tuesdays is an off for our Dive Center. Of the 5 dives, the Deep and Navigation dives are compulsory, while the other 3 can be selected from a list of available electives including Peak Performance Buoyancy, Enriched Air Diver, Wreck Diver, Rescue Diver, Underwater Photography, Fish Identification and many more. We’ll be happy to help you choose suitable electives depending on your interests and local diving conditions. The course not only teaches you how to do deeper dives up to 30 meters, but also boosts your confidence, and broadens your understanding of dive theory, navigation and safety protocols.
