The PADI Deep Diver Course teaches you how to safely explore the ocean down to 40 meters, equipping you with the skills, planning, and confidence to go deeper, longer, and smarter. You'll learn how to manage increased air consumption, buoyancy, and the effects of nitrogen narcosis, while perfecting safety and emergency procedures under expert guidance. Through a series of progressive dives, you'll discover the thrill of the deep while mastering the discipline it demands. Whether you're drawn by deep reefs, majestic drop-offs, or hidden wrecks, this course is your key to unlocking a new dimension of diving - one that combines adventure, skill, and respect for the ocean's mysterious depths. Key Details : Minimum Age: 15 years Duration: 2 days No. of Dives: 4 Maximum Depth: 40 metres/130 feet Prerequisites: PADI Adventure Diver certification or equivalent The Deep Diver Course comprises 2 main components: Knowledge development to learn the theoretical basics and safety aspects of deep dives. Once a course is booked, we assign e-learning materials at the earliest to help you complete theory sections at your pace & convenience, prior to arrival at the dive centre. Open water dives with a PADI Instructor, to practice descents, buoyancy and safety stops. Through hands-on exercises, you'll discover how deep dives affect color, physical objects and your brain. We recommend that you visit us at the dive center a day before starting your course to complete paperwork, & get yourself fitted for the equipment you will be using for the next few fun-filled days! Additionally, if you have not dived in over 6 months, we recommend you sign up for a skill refresher prior to starting the course. The Enriched Air Diver Course can be completed a day prior to the Deep Diver course. It is strongly recommended that no flights be undertaken for at least 18 hours after the last dive. Extra training days (if required, for non-medical reasons) are priced at ₹5,500/- per day While we don't provide accommodation or transport ourselves, we'd be happy to connect you with our reliable partner companies for easy bookings. For ease of travel & flexibility during your stay in Pondicherry, we strongly recommend arranging your own transport.
