Looking to have a great time together as a family with members of all ages who are hesitant to take a dive, then we invite everyone in the family to have a fun and relaxing Snorkelling time. Platypus Escapes offers you and your family Snorkelling activities, right back of our office legally owned Beach & special snorkelling sites around Visakhapatnam. Whether you are with a baby or an 80-year-old elder, Snorkelling is safe for everyone. While snorkelling our Instructor will accompany you, with well-equipped gear and all required safety majors, also he will capture those Instagram moments, photographs & videos of your underwater adventures! We also have special programs, for kids. Pre-requisites : None Swimming : Not Required Program Duration : 60 minutes Min. Age : Not Applicable Package Include 1. All snorkelling gear 2. Briefing & Training 3. Activity experience (30 minutes) 4. Photos & Videos 5. Drinking water 6. Shower facilities Things that you need to bring: 1. Towel 2. Extra pair of undergarments and clothes. 3. Carry a phone/ pen-drive to get the videos. 4. Carry your own sunglasses & cap to protect you from sun at beach/ocean. 5. If you want to wear your own clothes (shorts & t-shirt)or swimwear you can carry (photos will be better) if you don’t have will provide you half wetsuit. Note: - Have some lite breakfast like fruits or anything. Beginner Scuba (Boat Dive)
Are you interested to go scuba diving but a bit hesitant because you don’t know swimming? Do you have just half a day and not really interested in taking a certification course? Are you reasonably healthy, with no previous medical problems? If this is more or less you, then come and experience a BOAT DIVE with us. Platypus Escapes invites you, come scuba dive in Vizag and explore the beautiful colourful waters, with wide range of marine life and reef on beautiful dive sites around. Our trainers (Instructor / Dive Master) will brief you about the equipment and basic techniques, followed by a practice session in shallow waters. After your initiation, you will sail with us to some of the most spectacular and breath-taking dive sites and for those Instagram moments, photographs & videos of your underwater adventures are on us! Note: • Need more than 3 members for boat dive. • Total duration of the activity : Min. 3 hrs – Max. full day depends on chosen package or No. of dives. • Medically Fit (contact before booking if there will be any doubt regarding any health issue) • Maximum safest depth : 12 meters (as per international standards) Pre-requisites : None Swimming : Not Required Program Duration : 3 hours minimum Min. Beginner Scuba (Shore Dive)
If you have less than half a day or only 2 hours to spare and would still like to experience the wonderful world of scuba, then SHORE DIVE is tailor made for you. Platypus invites you, come scuba dive in Vizag and explore the beautiful colourful waters, with wide range of marine life, in the reef, just behind of our Dive centre (Shore Dive). What is SHORE DIVE? Shore Diving that involves entering into Ocean by walking with scuba gear from the beach directly into the ocean. Our trainer (Instructor / Dive Master) will give you on-site dive training, on the shore. Subsequently, he will guide you underwater, for a wonderful dive experience, lasting for about 35 - 45 minutes & up to a depth of 9 meters or less, depends on your comfort. While scuba diving, one Instructor will always be with you, for your safety and for those Instagram moments, photographs & videos of your underwater adventures are on us! Rescue Diver
Who should do this course? Are you an experienced diver who’s looking to take the next step? Do you feel that you could help another diver in case of a panic diver in an emergency? Course flow During the Rescue Diver course will help you to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. You learn to prevent and manage problems in the water and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.
Emergency First Response gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies – not just in the diving world, but in your everyday world too.
