Emergency First Response (EFR) Course
The Emergency First Response course is a comprehensive first aid and CPR training program designed for both divers and non-divers. It teaches you how to respond confidently and effectively in medical emergencies until professional help arrives. This course follows internationally recognized emergency care guidelines and is often a prerequisite for the Rescue Diver certification. Primary Care (CPR) – How to respond to life-threatening emergencies, perform CPR, and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Secondary Care (First Aid) – How to assess injuries and provide first aid for non-life-threatening conditions. Emergency Response Skills – Scene assessment, barrier use, and emergency action planning. 📚 Course Details Duration: 1 day Prerequisites: None Minimum Age: No minimum age requirement Certification Validity: CPR & First Aid certification is typically valid for 2 years
The Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to enhance your diving skills, build confidence, and introduce you to new underwater adventures. This program is the next step after completing the Open Water Diver certification and allows divers to expand their experience under the guidance of a certified instructor. During the course, you will complete five adventure dives, including two mandatory dives: ✔ Deep Dive – Experience diving up to 30 meters and learn about depth-related planning and safety. ✔ Underwater Navigation – Improve your compass and natural navigation skills. You can choose three additional adventure dives based on your interests, such as Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night Diving, Wreck Diving, Drift Diving, or Underwater Photography. This course typically takes 2–3 days to complete and focuses on practical learning in real dive environments rather than classroom sessions. Dive deeper (up to 30 meters) Improve buoyancy and air consumption Gain more confidence and experience Explore different types of diving
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the entry-level scuba diving certification from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). Once you complete it, you are a certified diver and can dive independently with a certified buddy up to 18 meters (60 ft) anywhere in the world where recreational diving is allowed. The course combines theory, skills practice, and real dives: 1) Knowledge Development – Learn dive theory: equipment, planning, safety, physics & environment. – Can be done via PADI eLearning online, at your own pace before water training. 2) Confined Water Training – Practice scuba skills in a pool or similar environment with your instructor. – Skills include buoyancy control, regulator use, mask clearing, emergency skills, etc. 3) Open Water Dives – You complete four open water dives in the sea, ocean, quarry, or lake. – Apply what you learned under the supervision of your instructor. Prerequisites To enrol you typically must: ✔ Be at least 10 years old (Junior certifications with depth limits apply at younger ages) ✔ Be comfortable in the water with adequate swimming ability — often demonstrated by swimming ~200 m and treading water for ~10 min ✔ Complete a PADI medical form (physician approval may be required if certain conditions exist) ✔ No prior scuba experience required
