EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE
An invaluable course for divers and non-divers of all ages. Accidents and illnesses happen every day and whilst some people may need only a helping hand others without early assistance may suffer serious or permanent disability. Through knowledge and skills development, including realistic scenario practice, you will develop the understanding and confidence to render medical assistance to those in need. EFR Primary Care (CPR) teaches you how to deal with emergencies that are immediately life-threatening whilst Secondary Care (First Aid) covers illnesses and injuries that require attention particularly when local medical assistance is unavailable or delayed. Prerequisites: 10 years This is the most popular diver program worldwide, a passport to a lifetime of underwater adventure, which allows you the freedom to dive with a buddy, independent of a professional. The basic beginner's certification course consists of e-learning at home of 6 theory modules, 2 Pool sessions and 4 Open Water Dives. Course fee includes rental of equipment including Regulator, Octopus, Gauges, Mask, wetsuit, snorkel & fins, FREE insurance for dives, Online Log Book & Certification, Pool & Boat charges. Internationally recognised certification given enabling the student to dive anywhere in the world upto a max of 18 meters depth.
For those limited on time but wishing to head for a certification course. Consists of e-learning at home of the first 3 modules of the Open Water Course, 3 modules of the pool session and 2 open water dives. This certification course allows one to dive under the guidance of a dive professional. The student can continue for the Open Water certificate within 1 year of having completed this course. E-learning (3 modules), 3 pool modules, 2 open water dives, exam. Certifies to dive under professional supervision. Can upgrade to Open Water within 1 year. Min age: 10.
