About this course

A professional rating represents the highest pinnacle of training in recreational scuba diving – it indicates a thorough knowledge of the theory of the sport (physics, physiology, environment, gear and more), as well as an understanding of the risks and most importantly, the ability to manage not just your safety, but the safety of those around you as well. Whether or not you choose to work in the industry, the training you get as an industry “insider” will really broaden your horizons and understanding of the sport. The biggest hurdle – becoming a dive pro takes time. Our Andamans training program usually takes around 30 days minimum to get someone up to Divemaster (sure, places do it in less time, but that affects the quality of the training). Many of our divers are interested in the training, but are unable to take that much time off – life comes in the way. Well, no more. We now offer Mumbai-based divers the chance to complete the bulk of their professional training here in Mumbai, while working at their own pace and schedule. So you no longer have to take a month or more off work in order to complete your professional training. There is no time limit to the program – you proceed at your own pace, and when you are ready, you can go to our dive center in the Andamans (or other dive center) and complete the open-water requirements of your course over the course of a week or so.
